Yes. Our tasting room is a community space. Kids of all ages are allowed in our tasting room – kids under 12 must be directly supervised by a parent or adult at all times. Dogs are allowed, but they must be comfortable in crowded spaces, around other dogs, and good with small children. Otherwise, kindly leash them outside.
We always have a good selection of year-round beers (Green Head IPA, Plum Island Belgian White, Maritime Lager, Melt Away IPA, Newburyport Pale Ale) as well as “1635 Series” limited release beers that change with the seasons.
Yes, when our tasting room is open to the public, you may purchase four-packs, six-packs and cases of canned beer either cold or warm. We will fill growlers and you can also enjoy a pint in our tasting room. Growler fills are not available for cask-only releases.
Yes. We have plenty of free parking here at the brewery. We’re a short walk from the Newburyport commuter rail station, and a quick bike ride off the Newburyport rail trail.
We offer a selection of snacks (pretzels, beef jerky, chips, snack bags) that can be purchased on-site. You are more than welcome to bring your own food to our tasting room. In addition, there are plenty of local Newburyport restaurants that deliver to our brewery. Just ask a bartender for delivery menus upon your arrival. On Thursday evenings, Metzy’s Taqueria Food Truck parks outside for fresh made-to-order meals.
Our pouring license limits us to just serving beer and non-alcoholic drinks. What we brew here, we serve here. We provide water for free and have seltzers and bottled water for purchase.
Our tasting room is available for private meetings, parties, dinners, reunions, weddings, or any other social gatherings. We also reserve tables and outdoor seating (seasonally) upon advanced request. Please contact our tasting room manager, Deanna at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call us at 978-463-8700 for more information.
PRODUCT AND DISTRIBUTION QUESTIONS
Newburyport Brewing’s beer is available at bars, restaurants, package stores, etc in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. We rely on distributors in all of those states to ensure that our beer is available and fresh. Don’t see Newburyport Brewing’s beers at your favorite bar or store? Email us to let us know
Unfortunately, we do not sell kegs out of our brewery. You may purchase both half-barrel and sixth-barrel kegs from local retailers and package stores. Please contact them directly – it’s safe to allow at least one week for them to order the keg from our distributor before picking it up, if they do not have it in stock already.
Our specialty beers, known as “1635 Series Small Batch” beers (Tall Buoy IPA, Joppa Grande Stout, etc.) are distributed in bursts across our entire distributor network. We may only send one a pallet of specialty beer at a time to each distributor, so please be sure to follow us on social media for timely updates.
Yes, all of our beers are vegan-friendly. In addition, our cask beers are filtered with the vegan-friendly Biofine Clear.
